At Lodgiko, we’re committed to creating safe, secure and worry-free stays for every guest. Whether you’re travelling, arriving late, or bringing family or friends — we’ve designed these guidelines to help keep things smooth, responsible and comfortable.

🌟 What You Can Expect From Us

• Properly maintained equipment: smoke alarms, carbon-monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, first-aid kit.
• Secure access: Solid locks, clear check-in procedures, lighting and visibility.
• Clear information: Emergency contacts, exit routes, instructions for the space, and local health & safety details.
• Respect for you and your belongings: Your privacy, comfort and well-being are top priority.
• Help when you need it: We’re reachable and ready to assist with any safety or security concern.

👣 What We Ask of You

As our guest, your cooperation helps make the stay safer for everyone. Please:

• Lock doors and windows when leaving the property and when sleeping.
• Use all provided amenities and equipment (e.g., fire extinguisher, safety exits) as instructed.
• Read any house-safety instructions or guides provided — especially around kitchen, pool, balconies or equipment.
• Keep emergency contact numbers and check-in notes handy.
• Report any damage, malfunction or hazard immediately so we can fix it for you (and for future guests).
• Respect local community, neighbours, building rules and quiet hours.

📋 Quick Safety Checklist Upon Arrival

Please take a few minutes after you’ve unpacked to ensure the essentials are in place:

• Locate smoke alarms and CO detectors; test if needed.
• Identify fire extinguisher and first-aid kit.
• Check that all entry/exit doors lock properly.
• Note emergency exit or alternate escape route.
• If children or pets are with you: identify any hazards like balconies, pool gates, cleaning supplies.
• Save our contact number + local emergency services.

⚠️ Extra Precautions & Situations

For families / children / pets

• Always supervise children around stairs, balconies, pools or water-features.
• Keep safety gates, pool fences, or locked doors secured.
• Do not leave children or pets unattended in the space where there are potential risks (e.g., deep water, steep steps, appliances).

For late arrivals / unknown surroundings

• Use provided lighting and secure all access points.
• Keep valuables out of sight and lock any luggage when leaving.
• If unfamiliar with the area, use trusted taxi/transport, and avoid sharing your real-time location publicly until you’ve settled.

For fire or other emergencies

• Know two ways out of every room if possible. U.S. Fire Administration+1
• Do not block exits with luggage or furniture.
• Follow posted evacuation instructions or local emergency protocols.
• Call local emergency number first, then notify Lodgiko.

For digital & personal security

• Use secure WiFi networks; avoid sharing sensitive info on public/unprotected WLAN. JustLuxe+1
• If any feeling of discomfort or suspicion arises (unknown visitors, strange noises, damaged locks) inform us immediately.

🛠️ What Happens If There’s a Problem

• We will respond as quickly as possible and provide assistance or relocation if required.
• In case of serious hazard or damage, we may temporarily suspend use of a space until it’s safe.
• You agree to cooperate — which may include vacating the property if continuing the stay poses a safety risk.
• We reserve the right to apply reasonable corrective steps or charges if damage or unsafe behaviour leads to risk.
